DWYER, MICHAEL JOSEPH DONALD (DONNIE) - On Tuesday, January 30, 2007 Donnie Dwyer of Saint John passed away unexpectedly at the age of 62. He was the only son of the late Arthur and Matilda (Martin) Dwyer, loving husband of Joan (Malone). Don was a proud member of the Saint John Police Force beginning his faithful service in July 1967 and retiring as a detective. Don made outstanding contribution in organization, development and achievement of high standards of sportsmanship towards the youth of the City of Saint John. Don was an active member of the St. Rose Parish. Don will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Joan; his children, Michael (Christine), Lorrie (Stephen) Johnston, Patrick (Shelly); and grandchildren, the late Stefanie Dwyer, Branden, Sarah, Michael, Drew and Demi; as well as many other family and friends. Resting at Castle Funeral Homes "Fallsview Chapel", 309 Lancaster Avenue, Saint John. Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 1 from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., and Friday, February 2 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 12:00 p.m., Saturday, February 3 at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church.
