TIDD, Phillip Austin - On Saturday, January 10, 2004 in his 52nd year, after a courageous battle with cancer. Phil died peacefully with his family present. Father of Jason (Tara). Grandpa of Austin and Kaitlyn. Eldest son of Derek and Beryl, Niagara Falls. Brother of Drs. Pamela Milroy (Peter), Adrian (Sharon) and Steven (Karen). Uncle to Kathleen Milroy (Aaron Friesen), James Milroy (Lisa Manning), Holly (Charlie) Nourang and friend of April Heenan. He was an avid sportsman excelling in hockey, fishing and was a champion golfer. Recently winning a trip to Spain for "closest to the hole". Many thanks to the Henderson Hospital staff in emergency, Ward 395 and the VON for your compassion and caring. He will be sadly missed by family and friends. Visitation at Cresmount "Upper James" Chapel, 1020 Upper James St., just north of the Line on Wednesday , January 14th from 5-7pm., with a Memorial Service to follow at 7 pm. A second Memorial visitation at Armstrong Funeral Home, 124 King Street East, Oshawa on Saturday, January 17 from 2-4pm with service to follow at 4pm.
