BOYD, Steele - (There was only one) Passed away on Sunday December 10th, 2006 with the love, laughter and support of his family. Predeceased in December 2003 by Mary M. (Varie) Boyd, his sweetheart of 55 years. Steele was the extraordinary father of Diane Vetter and Lorna E. Boyd. Awesome and brilliant grandfather of Kyle Boyd Vetter and Anna Margaret Jean Vetter, James Evan Steele Boyce and Fiona Emmie Elizabeth Boyce. Great friend of his sons-in-law Keith Vetter and Mark Boyce, with whom he shared a love for golf. Steele will always be in our hearts, our humour and our thoughts. He will be fondly remembered by his extended family and many friends. Friends called at the STECKLEY- GOODERHAM FUNERAL HOME (201 Minet's Point Road at Yonge Street) Barrie on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.. A Celebration of Steele's Life was held in the Chapel on Tuesday Evening December 12th, 2006 from 7:00 -7:30 p.m. Memorial donations to the Toronto Hospital for Sick Children would be appreciated.
