Custodia da Conceicao RIBEIRO

dos SANTOS, Custodia da Conceicao Ribeiro Passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 7, 2007 at the age of 77. Custodia was born in Freiria, Torres Vedras, Portugal and immigrated to Canada in 1968. Settling in Thunder Bay, Ontario, with her family, she made a significant contribution to the Portuguese and local community as a teacher and volunteer for many years. She moved to Ottawa, Ontario, upon retirement. Custodia will be fondly remembered and sadly missed by her husband Custodio Francisco; daughters Lucilia Timler and Alda dos Santos; sons-in-law Paul Timler and Bill Lowthian; grandchildren Derek and Talia Timler, Taylor and Ryan Lowthian; brother Antonio Ribeiro and extended family and friends. Friends are invited to join her family at Heritage Funeral Home, 2871 St. Joseph Blvd., Orleans, on Saturday, February 10, 2007 from 1-2:15 pm. Funeral Service will follow at Senhor Santo Cristo Church, 1100 Kenaston St., Ottawa at 3 pm.
