Loving husband of Dini (nee Hagen) and the late Hendrika. Cherished father of Tony (Mary-Lynn), John (Caroline), Bev Boucher (Howard), Karen Holmes (Dave), Albert (Nancy), Eileen Hudson (Howard), Ann Steele (Brian) and Brian (Karen). Proud and much loved Opa of 19 grandchildren. Also dear step-father of Joan (Derrek), Marian (John), William (Carmelle), Liz (John), Gordon (Anita), Linda (Bob), Rita (Dale), Paul (Korey), Anthony, Diana (Denis), 29 step-grandchildren and 3 step-great-grandchildren. Dearly missed brother of Albert (Gerry), Dien Havekes (John) and 5 sisters in Holland. Predeceased by 1 brother and 2 sisters. Friends may call at the Byers Funeral Home, Church St. South Mountain (613-989-3836) from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday. Funeral Tuesday, February 13, 2007 to St. Daniel's Catholic Church, South Mountain for Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. Interment St. Daniel's Roman Catholic Cemetery.
