DESJARDINS, E.A. (Eugene) Passed away Wednesday February 14, 2007, at age 80. Beloved husband and best friend of Yvette (Moreau) for 60 years. Proud founder of E.A. Desjardins & Sons on Russell Rd. in Gloucester, ON. Son of the late Aldege Desjardins and the late Adrienne Menard of Clarence Creek, ON. Survived by his 7 children Diane Laplante (Wally McNinch), Bob, Irene, Don (Paulyne Cayer), Anne, Danielle (Geoff McGuire), and Ron. Also survived by his 15 grandchildren Luc (Mary Ann), Jean (Nicole) and Melanie Laplante (Luc Levesque), Michelle Day and Daniel Desjardins (Kelly), Kim Murray (Shawn), Danick and Erick Desjardins, Jason (Angela Kuseler), Lyne and Patrick Bourdeau, Julie and Robbie McGuire and Thomas and Caroline Desjardins and his 9 great-grandchildren. Predeceased by his son-in-law (Richard Laplante) and his grand-daughter (Roxanne Laplante) and his brothers, George (Admira), Lucien (Jeannine), Raoul (Alice), Edgar (Jeannine), Rejean and his sisters Jeannine (Paul Bertrand), Fernande (Jean-Paul Prud'homme) and Reine-Aimee (Aime Renaud). Survived by his brother Jean-Paul (Yvette); and also his spouse's 3 sisters and brother-in-law. A memorial service will be held Wednesday February 21 at the Beechwood Cemetery located in their reception area, 280 Beechwood Avenue in Ottawa, ON at 2:00 pm.
