HALL, Rodolphe. 1919 - 2007. Rudy passed away peacefully after an eight year debilitation with Alzheimer's Syndrome on February 26, 2007 at the St. Anne's Veteran's Hospital. A Signalman during WWII, Rudy brought his communication skills to CNR and had a long and rewarding career. Married to the late Collette Desgagne, their thirty-two year marriage unfortunately ended in divorce. He was a loving uncle to his many nephews and nieces. Rudy derived pride and purpose from his outstanding military service, from coaching baseball in the Cote-des-Neiges Little League and from his political activism with the Equality Party. Predeceased by his brother Gene and sisters Julia Cobham, Jenny Reese, and Cynthia Hicks, he is survived by his sisters Maxine Braithwaite, Leona Baker and his inlaws Shirley Taylor-Hall and Hilton Braithwaite. His family wishes to thank the wonderful, caring staff of the St. Anne's Veteran's Hospital. Friends and family will be received at Feron's Funeral Homes, 2630 Notre Dame St. West. Montreal 514-932-7222 on Saturday, March 3, 2007 to celebrate his life. Visitation begins at 10 a.m. followed by a Memorial Service at noon and a reception afterwards. Cremation and interment will follow at a later date where he will take his place of honour at the Last Post. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer's Society of Canada would be appreciated.
