PORTER, Kenneth John 1940 - 2006 On Friday, November 24, 2006, Ken passed away in peace, love and humour with his family by his side. Ken will be deeply missed by his life partner of forty-two years, Albertine and their three sons, John (Michelle), David, Jim (Faith). He will also be remembered by his grandchildren, Santana (Bobby), Samantha and Julia; and his great-grandchildren, Zakary and Adyn; as well as his community of friends. Ken was predeceased by his daughter Michelle; sister Beverly; and parents Margaret and John. Born in Lloydminster, Ken built his career as a banker with CIBC in Northern Alberta, Edmonton and Calgary. Reverend Innaiah Bellamkonda will celebrate Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday, November 29, 2006 at 1:00 p.m. at St. Vital Catholic Church, 4905 - 50 Street, Beaumont, AB. Those wishing to pay their respects may do so one hour prior to the Mass. As a result of how cancer touched his life and the lives of loved ones, notably his daughter, Ken requested donations to Stollery Children's Hospital Foundation ( www.stollerykids.com/donation.html ) in lieu of flowers.
