SEAGER, Craig Douglas October 3, 1953 - November 22, 2006 It is with great sadness that we announce that Craig passed away after a courageous battle with liver disease. Craig will be lovingly remembered by his wife and true love Sandy; his stepmother Delores; his Uncle Peter; numerous relatives and many dear friends. Craig was born and raised in Calgary. In 1972 he joined the military serving his country in the PPCLI, the Airborne and Search and Rescue. While a SARTECH Craig received the Star of Courage and the Medal of Bravery for risking his life to save others. After his retirement in 1992 he worked as a Special Constable with the Calgary Police Service until 2001 and for the Town of Turner Valley until 2003. Memorial Service to celebrate Craig's life will be held on Wednesday, November 29, 2006 at 1:00 p.m. at the Beddington Pentecostal Church, 16 Bermuda Drive N.W., Calgary, AB. In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire memorial donations may be made in Craig's name to the Make a Wish Foundation of Alberta, Bay 5, 2308 - 24 Street S.W., Calgary, AB T2T 5H8 (Telephone 228-3666). Friends and Family would like to thank the staff at the Foothills Medical Centre for their care during Craig's last months with a special thanks to the nursing staff of Unit 36. That Others May Live
