Clifford Desrosiers, On March 16, 2006 Clifford Desrosiers died at the Temiskaming Hospital following a lengthy illness. He was 69. He was born in Dymond Township on October 16, 1936 to Gaudiose Desrosiers and Florence Leroux. He married Ruth Marriott in Harley Township on August 10, 1957. Mr. Desrosiers was predeceased by his parents Gaudiose and Florence Desrosiers, brothers Fred and Lawrence Desrosiers, sister Alice Kergan, brother-in-law Elgin (Chuck) Kergan and brother-in-law Jean-Claude Vanier. He is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Ruth; children Stan (Natalia Kozourod) of Barrie, Colleen (Mathiew Ryan) of Haileybury, Steve (Bonnie) of New Liskeard, Bruce (Bridget Porter) of Haileybury, Pauline Dinel (Fern) of Haileybury and Garry (Maryann) of Ottawa; grandchildren Eric (Lisa), Sarah (Trevor), Chris (Marcee), Matthew (Amanda), Jessica, Stephanie, Bradley, Kyle, Adam, Tanner, Chantal, Kayla and Emma; great-grandchildren Kevin, Brooke and Rylan; siblings Paul (Violet) of Englehart, Roger (Myra) of Newfoundland, Beatrice Desrosiers of Montreal, Claire (Jack) Novac of Amherstburg, Theresa (Mel) Jibb of Englehart, Laura (Ed) Gagne of New Liskeard, Simone (Andy) Laferriere of Matheson, Frances (Barry) McNair of New Liskeard, and Louise (Gordon) Pyle of Calgary; sisters-in-law Eileen (nee Jelly) Desrosiers of New Liskeard and Delia (nee Leduc) Desrosiers of Westree; and by many nieces and nephews, sisters- and brothers-in-law and his faithful dog Romeo. In keeping with Mr. Desrosiers’ wishes he was cremated with a memorial service to follow on April 15 from 2-4 p.m. at Roy’s Restaurant in Haileybury. Memorial contributions to the Heart and Stroke Foundation will be gratefully acknowledged by the family.
