Beverlee Maude WAINMAN

Beverlee Maude Williams After a six month illness, Beverlee Maude Williams of Englehart died at the North Bay Civic Hospital on December 19, 2005. She was born in Ansonville on February 12, 1930 to Margaret and Walter Wainman. Educated in Englehart and Whitby, she married Jack Williams in Englehart on July 13, 1955. Mrs. Williams helped her husband with the family business of Williams and Scott Hardware in Englehart. She was also employed at the Northern Credit Union for a number of years and worked at Treasure Chest Antiques. She was very active in baseball, curling and the outdoor life as well as the Girl Guides of Canada. An active member of Emmanuel United Church, she was very community minded. Since opening her quilt shop, The Fabric Patch, she had made many dear friends. Mrs. Williams had been a member of Emmanuel United Church, the Northern Beacon Rebekah Lodge and the Next Stop Englehart Quilters Guild. She is survived by her daughters Leslie (Ian) McFarlane of London, Darcy (Gary) Hebert and Jackie (Bill) Stewart of Englehart; grandchildren Travis and Brianne McFarlane, Bridget and Drew Hebert, Allison, Brittany and David Stewart; brothers Walter and Duane Wainman; several nieces and nephews; and brother-in-law Jim Williams. She was predeceased by her husband Jack Williams, parents Walter and Margaret Wainman, brothers Eric and Garry Wainman. The funeral was arranged by McDonald Funeral Home in Englehart with the service conducted by Reverend Peter Dahlin at Emmanuel United Church on December 23. Pallbearers were Craig Williams, Darren Williams, Scott Farmer, David Allin, Travis McFarlane and John Thib. Cremation has taken place with interment to follow in the spring at the Englehart Cemetery. Donations to a local charity of choice would be appreciated by the family.
