KERR, David Duke, January 14, 1918 - April 2, 2007 With a passion for everything he did and touched, David passed away after a long and arduous battle with pain. In spite of all his ailments, he never lost his spirit and continued to relish in all of his interests and his hobbies up until the end. Like many Scots, David was tenacious and consistent. He never gave up. In the weeks before his death, he continued to make dream catchers, completed beading projects placed the newest editions of stamps into his albums and even planned a new carving project. He is predeceased by his wife and love Agnes (Nan) on January 5th 2007. Nan got her wish and went first. David took care of her right to the end and has now joined her to continue in his care and love for her. They were never apart in life and will always be remembered by all family and friends as a loving couple, wonderful parents to Diana predeceased and June, son (in-law), Bill and amazing supportive and loving grandparents of Tracey MacDonald and Heather Kertyzia. David has been cremated and will be brought home to 9 Linden Avenue, Fonthill on Sunday April 29th . The family will hold a memorial at his home and garden from 2 to 4 p.m. for his many friends and family to celebrate his life and say good-bye to a wonderful man. This will be followed by internment for both Nan and David at the Fonthill Cemetery on Monday April 30th at 1 p.m.. In lieu of flowers or donations, David would encourage you to plant more flowers, shrubs or trees in your garden or community to retain the beauty of Canada, his adopted home. He would probably encourage you to take time to enjoy your families and all that surrounds you, for life is indeed too short, regardless of how long we live. 10626843
