Cheryl Marie (nee Pegelo) White Obits - Friday, May 04, 2007 Updated @ 11:04:14 AM Cheryl Marie White, of Hanover, passed away at Victoria Hospital, London on Wednesday, April 25, 2007. She was 44. Born in Hanover, Cheryl was employed with Ideal Supply and the Durrer Group, as well as being a member of the Walkerton Boomers Ladies Slow Pitch Team. Beloved wife and soulmate of Scott White, dearest mother of Ashley and Dylan, cherished daughter of Ken and Joan Pegelo, treasured sister of Jennifer and Scott Weaver of Barrie, Ken and Bonnie Pegelo of Petawawa and Neil and Angela Pegelo of Hanover. Special aunt to Andrew, Sarah, Nathan, Adam, Dawn, Danielle, Alisa, Brooklyn and Liam. Honourary aunt to Tim Tim and Adam. Cheryl has been predeceased by son Dylan in infancy, grandparents Mel and Thelma Pegelo, John Monahan and Jack and Stella Woodward, mother and father-in-law Gloria and Patrick White, uncles Alan Sowden, Gerald, Larry and Dale Pegelo and aunt Bernice Spielmacher. She leaves sister-in-law Inez and Todd Durrer of Hanover, brothers-in-law Ian White of Base Borden, Earl White of Kentucky and Carson and Bruce White of Alberta. Also numerous aunts, uncles and cousins and treasured friends. Cheryl was a wife, a mother, a daughter, a sister, an aunt, a niece, a cousin, a teammate, a co-worker and, above all, friend to us all. Visitation was held at Mighton Funeral Home on Wednesday from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm. A Memorial Service was held on Thursday, May 3, 2007 at 11 am at St. Matthew's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Hanover. Rev. Teri-Ann Mattiasson officiated. Cremation with interment in Hanover Cemetery. Memorial donations to the Leukemia Society were appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
