HANNA, Earl James - The family sadly announces the sudden passing of Earl in his 75th year, on Saturday, May 26, 2007 at Sudbury Memorial Hospital with his family at his side. Beloved husband of Joanne (nee Oltmann) of 50 years. Dear father of Beth and husband Gary Trevisiol, of Sudbury, Bruce and wife Dana of Peterborough, and Wayne and wife Helene Lebel of Azilda. Proud Grandpa of Cassie, Michael, Amber, Jennifer, Colin & Deirdre. Son of Gordon & Margaret (nee Watt), both predeceased, of Almonte, Ontario. Loved brother of Bernice Jean Ohlke of Mississauga and Cecil, predeceased. Special Uncle of Brenda Barratt and husband Bill Hollings of Acton and special Grandpa Earl of Adam and Emma. Sadly missed by his large extended family and circle of friends and remembered as friend and mentor to many. Earl was an Area Mines Geologist working at different sites in the region and after 31 years finally retired from Creighton in 1986. Following his retirement Earl spent the summers entertaining at the lake, wintered in Florida and Texas, and in more recent years enjoyed summers of salmon fishing on Manitoulin with Joanne, friends and family. In lieu of flowers donations may be made through Jackson & Barnard to the Cardiovascular Thoracic ICU or Cardiology 5th Floor of Memorial Hospital. There will be a celebration of his life with a short memorial service at All Nations Church, Prete St. Sudbury, ON, on Tuesday, May 29th at 11:00am. Arrangements entrusted to the JACKSON AND BARNARD FUNERAL HOME. 10677231
