Elsie Mary THEOBALD

THEOBALD, Elsie Mary Peacefully, at the Griffith McConnell Residence, Montreal, on May 16, 2007, one month short of her 97th birthday. Elsie was the elder daughter of Edward and Alice (Rogers) Theobald of Quebec City, originally of Kent, England. She was a schoolteacher from the age of 19, respected and appreciated by many pupils in Levis and Hull. She was the last of her immediate family, having been predeceased by her sister Alice in 2005. She is survived by a number of first cousins and their families, who remember her as a strong and gentle lady. Funeral service will be held at The Mount Royal Funeral Complex, 1297 chemin de la Foret, Outremont, 514-279-6540, on Thursday May 24, 2007 at 11 a.m. Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. before the service. If desired, donations may be made to St. Peter's Anglican Church, 900 Laird Blvd., Town of Mount Royal, H3R 1Y8 or to a charity of your choice. Well done, thou good and faithful servant.
