REID, Mary Pearl (nee Wood) Peacefully at St. Patrick's Home on Wednesday, May 23, 2007 in her 93rd year. Beloved wife of the late John Wesley Reid. Loving mother of Robert (Charlotte McKenzie) and Ronald. Cherished grandmother of Jennifer Reid (Larry Downes), Michelle Reid (Michael Pudden) and Michael Reid. Adored great-grandmother of McKenzie Lynn Downes and Eric Downes. Dear sister of Rita Richardson of Calgary, Gerald "Bud" Wood (Louise) and Dorothy Malone. Predeceased by her siblings Raymond, Bert, Eileen, Theresa, Patricia and Winnifred. She will be fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Friends are invited to visit at the Central Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry, 315 McLeod Street on Sunday, May 27 from 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Patrick's Home, 2865 Riverside Drive on Monday, May 28 at 10 a.m. Interment to follow at Pinecrest Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to St. Patrick's Home Foundation or to the Orangutan Foundation International, 4201 Whilshire Blvd., Suite 407, Los Angeles, CA. 90010 would be appreciated.
