MILROY, Ann deKoven Tilton (1927 - 2007) On Wednesday, May 23, 2007, peacefully, loved and surrounded by people who cared deeply. Devoted wife of Lt. Gen. William Alexander (1920 - 2006). Survived by daughters Elizabeth and Alexandra; son Rollin and his wife Leigh; and grandchildren William Christie Arnold, Victoria Elizabeth Arnold, and Lillian Ogston Tilton Milroy. Ann (known to most as Brownie since childhood) was the daughter of Brig. Gen. and Mrs. Rollin Larrabee Tilton of Ft Monroe, VA and St. Louis, MO. Her sister Elizabeth T. Seeley, of Oregon, survives, as do members of the extended and loving Milroy family who were always a source of comfort and inclusion over the past 55 years. Ann will be missed and celebrated by family, friends and many small creatures, all of whom were touched by a life lived with selfless care and compassion for others. A mass will be held at St. Clement's (RC) Latin Community Church, 87 Mann Avenue, on Thursday, May 31 at 10:30 a.m., followed by commital of her ashes beside her husband's at Beechwood Cemetery. In memoriam donations could be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, the Rideau Valley Wildlife Sanctuary or the Salvation Army. Published in the Ottawa Citizen from 5/26/2007 - 5/27/2007
