Peter Wilson LEES

LEES, PETER WILSON (January 8, 1932 - April 12, 2007)- At Scarborough General Hospital Palliative Unit, Scarborough, Ontario, dearly loved husband and best friend of Nancy Eleanor (Jones), loving and proud father of Warren and Stephanie and her partner, Rob Hepburn, and brother-in-law of John Reid, Toronto, Kent and Bonnie Jones and Carolyn and Wint Thompson, Saint John, NB. Peter was born and educated in Toronto. He was an employee of 40 years with Manufacturers Life in Toronto, Calgary and Saint John, N. B. where he met and married Nancy in 1962. Peter enjoyed traveling with a group of dear friends, his veggie garden, flowers, hatching (and releasing) monarchs and black swallowtails, cooking and baking, many years of background acting with Nancy, his pastoral visits in retirement homes on behalf of his church, 14 years' association with his fellow volunteers in various services at the Centenary site of the Rouge Valley Health System and was blessed with a great sense of humour. At Peter's request, cremation has taken place and a memorial service was held at the Church of The Holy Trinity, Scarborough, on Thursday, April 19th.
