Sean Hugh DUNN

DUNN, Sean Hugh - Sean Hugh Dunn of Sarnia passed away at Bluewater Health, Mitton St. on Saturday, April 21, 2007 in his 90th year. He was the husband of Helen (Eubank) Dunn and father of Thomas Frederick Dunn and wife Susan. Sean was born in Perth, Australia, May 3, 1917 and raised in Washington, D.C. In 1940 he joined the Royal Canadian Air Force where he was a Flight Lieutenant in the Bomber Command. He was lucky to survive; piloting heavy bombers for two tours (approximately 45 operations). After the end of the war he finished his B.Sc. Degree at McGill University. He worked as a purchasing agent for Kimberley Clark Corp. and Allied Chemical Co. in Toronto, New York City, Montreal, etc. He was an avid golfer and played at the Greenwood Golf Course until he was over 80 years of age. He was predeceased by his parents and two brothers. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at Grace United Church, 990 Cathcart Blvd., Sarnia on Saturday, May 5, 2007 at 1:00 p.m. If desired donations may be sent to the Sarnia Y.M.C.A. or the charity of your choice.
