MACLEOD, John B. Veteran of World War ll and Korean War Peacefully at the John Parrott Centre, Napanee, ON on Sunday, May 20, 2007. Beloved husband of Margaret Budge. Dear father of Trulie MacLeod and her husband Stephen Hunter of Toronto, Cathy Beavis and her husband Brian of Kingston, and Laurie Macleod and her husband Jim Smith of Toronto; dear Grandfather of Cameron and Annie Hunter; Matthew and his wife Christina; and Katie Beavis; dear Great- grandfather of Leah and Madison. The family will receive friends at the ROBERT J. REID FUNERAL HOME, 309 Johnson Street, (at Barrie Street) on Thursday, May 24 from 12:00 noon until Funeral Service at 2:00pm which will be held in “The Chapel on the Corner“. Interment Cataraqui Cemetery. John was a member of the Canadian Armed Forces - Canadian Medical Corp for 36 years and he retired as a Captain. The family would like to extend a Special “Thank you“ to Dr. Shayna Watson, Dr. Ivan Stewart, Dr. Catherine DeMetz and to the staff of the John Parrott Centre for all the kindness and care given to John.
