HOLMES, Joan Kathleen - Peacefully at Soldiers Memorial Hospital in Orillia on Tuesday, April 24, 2007 at the age of 82. Beloved wife of the Late Albert. Loving Mother of Christine Goto (Russell) and Michael ( Loretta). Dear Grandmother of Justin, Kelly, Adam, Robin and Anali. Dear sister to George Sadler (Birgitta) in Toronto and Ida Langley (the late Bob) in England. Predeceased by sisters Marie (the late Billie), Edith (Jimmy), in England. Sister-in- law to Roy (Brenda), Norman (Betty) in England. Fondly remembered by her nieces and nephews, especially Ruth, Jacqueline, Paul (Jennifer) and Loretta (Ian). She will be sadly missed by the Arima's, Goto's and Tanakas. Fondly remembered by her Church and friends in Orillia. A special thanks to the doctors in particular Dr. James Lam and staff at Soldiers Memorial Hospital. Thanks to Karen in the Harvie 4 Wing for her support and kindness at the end. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at Mount Pleasant Carfrae Chapel (375 Mount Pleasant Road, 416 485 9129) in Toronto on Saturday, May 26, 2007 at 11:00 am.
