CARTER, Naomi Ivy (Styles) - Passed away peacefully on Saturday April 21, 2007 at Valley Park Lodge, the day before her 90th birthday. Beloved wife of the late Richard Carter (1982). Dear mother of Rick (Maureen) Carter and Candi Murri (Brent Buffan). Cherished grandmother of Dawn Marie Hewitt, Rikki Tanya Rooker (the late Jay Busse), Nicole Rooker, Shawn (Lisa) Murri and Dave Murri. Great-grandmother of 7. Survived by several nieces and nephews. Daughter of the late Stephen and Minnie Styles. Naomi was the last surviving of her generation. She was predeceased by her siblings Eva, Wesley, Olive, Charlotte and Ruth. Naomi was very involved with crafts teaching ceramics for over 40 years. She was very passionate with her knitting and needlepoint. She was the manager of Lavender Concession Stands at The Towers and World of Shops from the mid 60's to the late 80's. She was an avid gardener. Naomi was also a lifetime member of the Order of the Eastern Star. Naomi's family will receive friends at the MORSE & SON CHAPEL of the MORGAN FUNERAL HOMES 5917 Main Street, on Tuesday from 1-2 o'clock followed by a service in the chapel. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Jeff Morgan Emergency Department Fund or the Niagara Falls Humane Society.
