Stewart TYERS

TYERS, Stewart - February 24, 1924 - April 21, 2007. As the sun rose with the promise of a glorious day, Stewart left this world to be with his Lord and Saviour. Stewart came from a family of 9 siblings and grew up on a farm outside of North Bay. He served in the RCAF during WWII, stationed in England. Upon returning he worked as a millwright, mainly for INCO in Sudbury and Ford in Oakville. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 58 years, Daisy (nee: Bauman), his children: Sharon (Leo) Newmann, June (Ross) Ayrhart, Miriam Tyers, Geoff (Pam) Tyers, Rosalie (Ty) Garde, Ann (Tom) Gloyn; grandchildren: Carolyn (Alex), Shawn; Geoffrey, Sarah, Jennifer; Rebecca, Curtis; Ashley, Troy; and 6 great- grandchildren. Family and friends will be received at the DENNIS TOLL FUNERAL HOME, 55 Charing Cross Street, Brantford, Tuesday April 24, 2007 from 7-9 p.m., and at Central Baptist Church, 300 Fairview Drive, Brantford, on Wednesday April 25, 2007 from 12-1 p.m., with a service to follow at 1 p.m. Interment Paris Cemetery.
