PRESTON, Ethel May - Peacefully, with family at her side, at the Brantford General Hospital on Thursday, April 26, 2007 in her 89th year, Ethel Preston, beloved wife of the late Douglas A. Preston. Dear mother of Gordon (Pat) Nichols of Stoney Plain, Alberta, Earla (Bill) Rogers of Waterdown, Judy (Sergio) Bollito of Grimsby, Elizabeth (Rick) Bush of London, Kathy (Gary) Shakespeare of Huntsville. Loving grandmother of 10 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. Ethel Preston was a member of Sydenham Street United Church; was an accomplished pianist and a choir member for over 60 years with the United churches; was a life member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Lakeview Chapter 79, Burlington. Friends will be received at the McCLEISTER FUNERAL HOME, 495 Park Road North, Brantford on Sunday 2 - 4 & 7 - 9 p.m & Monday 10 - 11 a.m. Order of Eastern Star, Lakeview Chapter 79 Service Sunday at 7p.m. Funeral service in the Chapel on Monday at 11:00 a.m. Entombment at Bayview Crematorium, Burlington.
