YOUNG, Gordon Richard (Retired Toronto Transit Commission) - Peacefully at home on Sunday, May 6th, 2007 with his family at his side, has overcome a long courageous battle with cancer. Gordon, of Blessington Road, in his 69th year. Beloved son of the late Albert and Agnes Young. Loving husband and best friend of Betty Suzanne (nee Jaques). Loving father of Wayne Gordon (Stacie), and Derek Richard (Tina). Cherished grandad of Lauren Louise and Christopher Gordon. A celebration of Gordon's life will be held from St. Mark's United Church, Cannifton on Saturday May 12th, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. with visitation from 9-11:00 a.m. Rev. Cathy Paul officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations to the BGH, St. Mark's United Church or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family. A special thanks goes out to the Cancer Drivers under Ralph Pietre, Darlene Rollins and staff at ParaMed, Oncology Dept. at BGH and KGH, and the Ambulance Drivers for their exceptional care and understanding.
