LONG, Ruth Lillian - Entered into rest peacefully, surrounded by her family at the Ross Memorial Hospital in Lindsay on Wednesday, May 9th, 2007. Loving wife of Ivan Long, for 50 years. Dear mother of Jeffrey and his wife Sandra of Ingersoll, Laurie and her husband Philip Jones of Cameron. Predeceased by her son Dale. Awesome grandmother to Erin, Russell and Jeremy Long, and Dustin, Dylan and Steven Jones. Survived by brother Rea Ashmore and his wife Maybelle of Orillia and brother- in-law Don Reeds. Predeceased by sister Mary Ann Reeds and brother Lloyd Ashmore and his wife June. Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Ruth will be missed by her four legged friend Barney. Visitation at the MACKEY FUNERAL HOME, 33 Peel Street, Lindsay on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service in the chapel on Friday, May 11th at 11:00 a.m. Interment at Riverside Cemetery, Lindsay.
