SKORETZ (SKOREC), Doris (nee Baluk) - Born in St. Phillips, Saskatchewan on December 8th, 1919 Doris passed away peacefully, after a courageous battle with Alzheimer Disease, at her residence on Monday May 14th, 2007 in her 88th year. Beloved wife of the late Alex (1991); Loving mother of Bob (Deb) of Windsor, Lisa (George) Obe of Brantford and Paul also of Brantford; proud grandmother of Jesse, Matt and Taylor. She was predeceased by 3 sisters and 2 brothers. Doris was well known and liked by all of her co-workers while she worked at the Hotel Kerby for over 20 years. Special thanks to the staff at Aberdeen, Alzheimer Society of Brant and the Scottish Rite Association. The family will receive friends at the “THORPE BROTHERS' FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL“, 96 West Street on Thursday (today) from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday May 18th, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. in the funeral home chapel.
