GAUS, Mr. George - At the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance on Wednesday, May 23rd, 2007 Mr. George Gaus of Chatham in his 85th year. Mr. Gaus was born in Haarlem, Holland and was the loving son of the late Simon and Toni Gaus. Beloved husband of the late Jansje (2002). Loving father of Art Gaus and Anne Williams-Gaus of London, and George and his wife Leishua Gaus of Chatham. Dear brother of Tonia Mica of Holland. He will be lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Emily, Ben, Rachel, and Janell. He is survived by many nieces and nephews. George was a long time contributor to Chatham's Minor Hockey and Baseball Association. Family and friends are invited to the ALEXANDER FUNERAL HOME, 245 Wellington West, Chatham, 519-352-2710 on Saturday, May 26th from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. At George's request there will be no funeral service. Interment at Maple Leaf Cemetery to be held at a later date. Friends planning an expression of remembrance are asked to consider the Ronald McDonald House Charities.
