Joe GRIMES

GRIMES, Joe - A memorial service for the late Joseph William Grimes, of Point Edward, formerly of Sarnia, was held on Wednesday, May 23rd from the Chapel of the D.J. Robb Funeral Home with Angela MacDonald officiating. The musical selection “What a Wonderful World“ was played during the service and a eulogy was given by Joe's cousin Greg Grimes. Joe was the dear husband of Joy Timmington, loving brother of Jerilynne Charron of Sarnia, uncle of Kara, Michelle and Tyler and Jen (Clayton), Trish, Nikki and James, nephew of Larry Grimes, Florence and Ron Egan and Mame and Jack Page, brother in law of Mary Ann Kumli and her husband Marcel of British Columbia, Wayne Timmimgton and Lee Toole both of Point Edward. Many, many cousins also survive. He was predeceased by his parents Bill and Mary Grimes. Joe was employed for over 25 years with the L.C.B.O., was a member of the Point Edward Ex-Servicemen's Club, Point Edward Optimists and the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 62. He passed away on May 18, 2007 at University Hospital, London at the age of 50 years. 10666922
