George MARTIN

MARTIN, George - At the Sault Area Hospital (General Site) on Thursday, May 24, 2007. George Martin in his 92nd year. Beloved husband of Jean Martin and loving father of Wynne Lienhardt, Jeff (Jerelyn), Jim (Cathy) and the late Wayne and Brian Martin. George is survived by his brother Duncan (Sonny) Martin and his sister Gladys Friel. He was predeceased by two brothers and one sister. He will be particularly missed by his many grandsons, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. George was the owner and operator of Forde Lake Air Service for many years. He served with the Mounted Division or Metro Toronto Police Service and was a veteran of The Royal Canadian Airforce serving in England and Scotland during WWII. A celebration of George's life will take place at Willowgrove United Church, 55 Tilley Rd. on Tuesday, May 29th at 10 a.m. with Helen Smith officiating.
