Bill POLLARD

POLLARD, Bill – Peacefully with his family by his side, at the Niagara Health System, Welland Site on Friday, May 18th, 2007 in his 57th year. Predeceased by his beloved wife, JoAnne Pollard (2001). Loving father of Rhonda and her husband Rob Barbisan of Niagara Falls and Walter and his wife Liz of Welland. Cherished grandfather of Allison and Lindsey Barbisan. Bill will be sadly missed by his loving and caring companion Jean Rogers and her children Len and his wife Jennifer and Eric and his friend Rebecca. Loving brother of Carol (Ed) of Pelham, Jean (Les) of Hamilton, Joan (Brock) of Caledonia, Don (Mary) of Welland and Ed (Linda) of Welland. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. He will also be missed by the Letourneau family. Predeceased by his parents Albert and Ida Pollard. Born in Welland, Mr. Pollard remained a lifelong resident of the city. He worked as a welder at Stelpipe (Welland Tubes) and retired in 1999 after 32 years service. Cremation has taken place. Friends are invited to a memorial service celebrated by Reverend Don Hipwell at the H.L. CUDNEY FUNERAL HOME, 241 West Main Street, Welland on Tuesday, May 29, 2007 at 10:00 am. Memorial donations to the Trillium Gift of Life Network would be greatly appreciated by the family with cards available at the funeral home.
