Dorothy "Dot" Weagle January 26, 1912 - September 02, 2004 Funeral arrangements by Atlantic Funeral Home (Halifax) WEAGLE, Dorothy "Dot" - 92, passed away September 2, 2004, in the New Halifax Infirmary, QEII. Born January 26, 1912, she was a daughter of the late Edgar and Inez (Bezanson) Manuel. In her younger years, Dorothy dedicated many hours to the Adult Services Program for the mentally challenged. She also volunteered many years catering to functions affiliated with the Order of DeMolay and the Masonic Lodge of St. Marks No. 38. Dorothy's greatest joy in life was being surrounded by her loving children and grandchildren, always giving "Nanny Hugs and Kisses". She is survived by sons, Wayne (Carol), Fredericton; Donald (Janice), Seabright; Terrance (Christine), Fall River; 10 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, George; son, David. Visitation will be held 7-8 p.m. today and 12-1:30 p.m. Saturday with funeral service 1:30 p.m. and reception to follow, all in Atlantic Funeral Home, 6552 Bayers Rd., Halifax. Burial in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Lower Sackville, Rev. Jane Hallett officiating. Family flowers only. Donations in memory may be made to the Canadian Red Cross Society or Adult Services, Prescott Street, Halifax.
