Donald Hooper Passed away on / Décédé(e) le May 10, 2007 It is with sorrow that we announce the death of Donald Hooper on Thursday May 10 at Sensenbrenner Hospital at the age of 81. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Dagmar nee Thrones of Kapuskasing, three daughters, Louise Carmichael wife of Patrick and Doreen Hooper of Copper Cliff, Evelyn Cadieux wife of Jean-Guy of Thunder Bay, five sons, Richard husband of Doreen of Hearst, David husband of Suzanne and Les all of Kapuskasing, Kenneth husband of Arlene of Moose Lake, Manitoba and Murray husband of Suzanne of Jogues, four sisters, Dorothy Garneau and Lillian Dyllon all of Hearst, Noella Thrones of Kapuskasing and Doris Skogan of Inwood, Manitoba, one brother, Thomas Hooper of Hearst as well as twenty grandchildren and thirty two great-grandchildren. Funeral service was held on Monday May 14 at 2:00 p.m. at Kapuskasing United church with Reverend Brenda Lumsden officiating. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Children's Make a Wish Foundation or to the Lung Association would be greatly appreciated.
