Margaret Mary LEAHY

PELYK, Margaret Mary (Nee Leahy) Passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 14, 2007 at Northridge LTC, Oakville in her 92nd year. Beloved wife of the late Joseph Pelyk (1992) Loving mother of Michael Pelyk (Donna), Timothy Pelyk (Sue) and Patricia Sbrocchi-Rodak (Michael). Cherished by her grandchildren, she loved her chickadees. Avid card player who loved playing the piano. Soloist and dedicated parishioner of St Leo's Catholic Church for over 50 years. Retired from the Catholic Children's Aid, June 1980. The last of eleven children of Timothy Leahy and Rose McKenna. Predeceased by Siblings Mary Laginski, Carmel Leahy, Domenic Leahy, Veronica Finnerty, Reverend Christopher Leahy, Helena Leahy, Gertrude Leahy, Clare Leahy, Martha Leahy and Theresa Blanchfield. The family sincerely thank all of the staff at Northridge LTC for there kindness, we also thank her caregivers Voula, Leanne, Nadiera, Melita and Nicole for their loving care and attention. Visitation will be held at The G. H. Hogle Funeral Home, 63 Mimico Avenue, Etobicoke, on Monday, June 18th from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Mass at St. Leo's Catholic Church, 277 Royal York Road, Etobicoke on Tuesday, June 19th at 10 a.m. Interment Glendale Memorial Gardens, Toronto. Family and friends are welcome to join in the celebration of Margaret's life at The Weston Golf and Country Club, 50 St. Phillip's Road, Toronto, following the Service.
