OBITUARY S.S. BASSAN, P.ENG. BASSAN, Surindar. Of Brossard, Quebec, passed away Friday June 15, 2007 at the Montreal Neurological Hospital. He was a successful consulting engineer by profession and a humanitarian by heart. He touched many lives through his dedicated service as the President of the Sant Nirankari Mission in Canada, striving to spread the message of truth, peace, love and unity as guided by His Master Satguru Baba Hardev Singh Ji Maharaj. He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Mrs. Surinder Bassan, daughter Lovleen (Daizy) and son-in-law Andreas Stenzel, son Terry and daughter-in-law Kiran, grandson Mohit, and loving brothers and sisters: Daljit Kaur Sura (Avtar Singh), Onkar Singh (Gurdip Kaur), Tarlochan Singh (Kuldip Bassan), Surinder Kaur Bhogal (Hardaman Singh), Bhupinder Singh (Narinder Kaur), and their children. Visitation will be on Monday June 18, 2007 from 6 to 9 p.m. and funeral services will be held on Tuesday June 19, at 11 a.m. at the Mount Royal Funeral Complex, 1297 Chemin de la Foret, Outremont, Quebec, (514) 279-6540.
