Leona RUBINOVICH

KIRSCHBERG, Leona (nee Rubinovich). It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Leona on Thursday, June 14, 2007, in her eighty-sixth year at the Royal Victoria Hospital, following a brave battle with complications from pneumonia. Beloved wife of the late Dr. Leo S.S. Kirschberg and loving daughter of the late Irwin Rubinovich and the late Agnes Fineberg. Cherished and loving mother and mother-in-law of Lyn and Earl King and Nicky and Ken Back. Adored grandmother of James and Jonathan Back. Treasured sister of June Jackson. She will be sadly missed by her nieces, nephews, cousins, bridge partners and friends. The family wishes to express heartfelt gratitude to all the staff of the ICU and on M10 at the Royal Victoria Hospital who cared for Leona during her last weeks with such compassion. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Thursday, June 21 at 11 a.m. Burial at the Spanish & Portuguese Congregation Cemetery, Mt.
