Late of Tecumseh. Beloved wife of 61 years to Geraldine (Gerry) (Nee Lappan). Loving father of Donna Laforet, of Tecumseh; Michael and wife Susan Rock, of Woodslee. Dear son of the late Theodore and Genevieve (Reaume)Rock . Dear pépé of Dwayne (Christine) Laforet; Lauri Laforet: Jennifer (Greg) Levack; Rebecca (André) Lariviere; William (Wendy) Rock; Stephen Rock; and Elizabeth Rock. Dear great-grandfather of Samantha and Megan Laforet; and Brandon and Nathan Levack. Dear brother of Eva Reed, of Phoenix and the late Shirley DeVittori. Dear brother-in-law of Clifford (Pepper) and Lucy Lappan; Germaine Miller; Don and Denise Lappan; Bill and Lil Lappan; Blanche and Mike MacDonnell; Rita and Bernie Kurek; Noella Hayes; Rose Lappan; Barbara Lappan and the late Helen and Paul Dufault; Alvin (Buster) and Millie Lappan; Norman (Babe) and Teenie Lappan; Peter and Paul Lappan; Eleanor and Charlie Desjardins; Maurice Lappan; Doris and Omer Jacques; and Jack Hayes. Adelard will be fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Special thanks to Dr. Martin McFarlane for his patience and concern. Del was a 34 year employee of the H.T. Reaume Construction Company. Visiting Saturday, from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. and Sunday, from 2:00 to 9:00 p.m. Parish prayers Sunday at 7:30 p.m. The funeral will be held on Monday, September 13, 2004 at 9:30 a.m. from The Marcotte Funeral Home and Chapel, 12105 Tecumseh Rd., Tecumseh (735-2830) to St. Anne Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. Fr. Robert Couture will be the celebrant. Interment at St. Anne Cemetery. As your expression sympathy, a donation to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or to Guatemala Hope would be appreciated. A tree will be planted in memory of Adelard Rock in the Marcotte Heritage Forest. A dedication service will be held in September, 2005.
