Margaret Howardine Lorraine Fowlie (née Faulkner) April 30, 1917 - September 09, 2004 Funeral arrangements by Atlantic Funeral Home (Lower Sackville) FOWLIE, Margaret H.L. - 87, Halifax, passed away peacefully September 9, 2004, in QEII Health Sciences Centre. Born in Halifax and a lifetime resident of Henry Street, she was the only daughter of the late Howard W. and Martha "Ruby" (Turner) Faulkner. She was predeceased by her husband, Cecil W. Fowlie, and was the last surviving member of her family. Margaret was a member of St. Andrew's United Church, Halifax and she also worked for them for 17 years. She was a life member of the Eastern Star, an avid bridge player and Blue Jays fan. Cremation has taken place under the direction of Atlantic Funeral Home, 125 Sackville Dr., Lower Sackville. A graveside service will take place 2 p.m. Tuesday, September 14, in Fairview Lawn Cemetery, Rev. Arlene Riches officiating. Margaret's wish for no visitation and funeral service has been observed. In lieu of flowers, donations in Margaret's memory to Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia. She will be missed by many friends and family members.
