Sonja TOELANIE

TOELANIE, Sonja. (1940-2007) Peacefully on Tuesday, July 24, 2007 in Lindsay, Ontario after a courageous battle with encephalitis and seizures, she took her final breath due to pneumonia and respiratory complications. She will live on in the hearts of her daughters Tessa (Tom) and Augie (Ron), her grandchildren Temisia, Teya, Elisa and Tyler, and her sister Lies van Hasselt (Piet), nieces Lisette and Nancy and nephew Danny in Australia, her best friend Patty van der Linde in the U.S. and the van Biljouw family in Holland. Special thanks and love to Sue, Theresa and all the nursing staff at Ross Memorial Hospital in Lindsay and to the wonderful caregivers at Pinecrest Nursing Home in Bobcaygeon. Visitation at the funeral service will be held on Friday, July 27 from 7 to 9 p.m. at Monk Funeral Home, 6 Helen Street, Bobcaygeon, (705) 738-3222. A church service will be held on Saturday at 11 a.m. at Our Lady Queen of Peace at Need St. in Bobcaygeon, Ontario.
