Marshall Leroy BREWER

BREWER, MARSHALL LEROY Marshall L. Brewer of Zealand passed away July 27, 2007 at Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital. Born at Upper Keswick in 1932, he was a son of the late Watson and Ferne (MacDonald) Brewer. Marshall is survived by his wife, Joyce (Morgan) Brewer, Zealand; two sons, Thomas Brewer (Bev), Fredericton and Kevin Brewer (Darlene), Prince Edward Island; four daughters, Ferne Demerchant (Gerald), Donna Phillips (Norman), Marcia Brewer (Clayton) and Jenny Brewer (Gary), all of Zealand; eighteen grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; a sister, Donna Pryor (Vernon), Centreville; two brothers, Eugene Sparks (Geraldine), Bristol and Richard Hardaker, Massachusetts; a daughter-in-law, Della Brewer, Zealand; two aunts, Muriel Bartley and Jean Hunter (Clarence); two uncles, Malcolm and Evans MacDonald; several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by two sons, James (Sam) and infant Stewart and a daughter, Joyce. Visiting hours will be held at the Stone Ridge Pentecostal Church, 129 Upper Stone Ridge Road, Zealand on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service will be held from the church on Monday, July 30, 2007 at 2 p.m. with Rev. Keith Mean and Rev. Terry Messer officiating. Interment will be in Zealand Community Cemetery. Pallbearers will be grandsons Chris Phillips, Derek Brewer, Jason Brewer, Donald Brewer, Thomas Brewer and B.J. Brewer. For those who wish to make a donation in memory of Marshall, the family has suggested the Canadian Cancer Society or Diabetes Association.
