Bernice Alice BURNETT

BERNIER, BERNICE ALICE - Bernice Alice Bernier, loving wife of 63 years to J.J. "Pete" Bernier, passed away peacefully on September 16, 2004 at the Carleton-Kirk Nursing Home. Born in Saint John, she was the daughter of the late John and Alice (Manville) Burnett. Bernice and her husband Pete were residents of Grand Bay most of their married life. She was a lovely homemaker, a fabulous cook, and really enjoyed knitting. Bernice was a member of the R.C.L. Branch #22, Ladies Auxiliary and also a member of St. John's Anglican Church Congregation and Ladies Guild. Surviving in addition to her devoted husband are her son William (Barb), Grand Bay-Westfield, NB., sister Florence (Eric Chapman), Martinon, NB., three grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Along with her parents, Bernice was also predeceased by her son J.J. "Pete" Bernier, brothers Fred, Leo, John, and Billy "Bucky" and sisters Elsie, Dorothy, and Hazel. Resting at Castle "Fallsview" Funeral Home, 309 Lancaster Ave., (634-1701) with visiting on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral Service will be held Saturday, September 18, 2004 from Fallsview Chapel at 1 pm. Interment in Greenwood Cemetery following the service.
