BOVEY, William (Bill) In hospital in Ottawa after a brief illness, on Saturday, August 25, 2007, at age 79. Cherished husband of Joy McDonell. Former husband of the late Ruby Bovey (nee Smith). Dear father of Rick (Jen Jones) and Wendy (Peter Vlasman). Dear stepfather of Duncan and Alasdair Gillis. Beloved Poppy of Shauna, Kelsey, Marissa, Shannon, Richelle, Christopher, Rebecca, the late Tanya, Jasmine, Katelyn, Monica, Bodhi and Calum. Great-grandfather of Glen, Connor, and Kaylee. Brother of Marion (Bo) Huber of Tillsonburg. Born in Hamilton, Bill served 25 years in the Canadian Naval Air Group of the Royal Canadian Navy, and 17 years as a member of the RCMP. Avid member of the RA Photo Club and Hylands Golf Club. Friends may pay respects at Kelly Funeral Home, 580 Eagleson Road, Kanata, on Thursday, August 30, from 4:00 to 7:30 p.m. Funeral at St. Patrick's Church - Fallowfield, 15 Steeple Hill Cr. on Friday, August 31, at 11 a.m. followed by celebration of life at Pine Hill Community Centre, 64 Goldfinch Dr., in Bridlewood, Kanata.
