GAUTHIER, Viola Mae It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Viola Mae Gauthier (nee Pappin) of Pembroke, Ontario at the age of 86 on Monday, August 27th, 2007. Beloved wife of the late Russell Gauthier and dear mother of Ronald of Pembroke, Terrance (Bernadette) of Ottawa, Paulette MacMillan (Dell) of Ottawa, Sandra Gauthier of Pembroke, Susan Gauthier(Doug) of Ottawa, Joanne Ferguson (John) of Vernon, British Columbia, Keith (Geraldine) of Ottawa, Barry (Joanne) of Manotick and Larry (Lucie) of Orleans. Cherished and loved by 19 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. Dear sister of Donald Pappin. Gerald Pappin (Mae) and Darwin Pappin (Diane). Dear sister-in-law of Sister Rita Gauthier, Tuffer Gauthier, Lillian Pelletier, Elsie Power (Rick), Lorraine Godin, Peter Gauthier (Beatrice), Ron Gauthier (Ruby) and Simone Schroeder (Dan). She will be remembered by many nieces and nephews. Viola was a member of the Catholic Women's league at St. Columbkille's Church for many years. She also was past president of the Women's auxiliary of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 17, Pembroke. Visitation at the Neville Funeral Home, 491 Isabella Street, Pembroke on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. and Wednesday after 11 a.m. Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Columbkille's Cathedral, Pembroke on Wednesday, August 29th, 2007 at 2 p.m. Interment St. Columba's Cemetery, Pembroke.
