BARKER, William Delbert (Del) - (Dedicated W.W.II Veteran, Life member of Havelock-Belmont Royal Canadian Legion Branch #389) - At his residence on Thursday, September 13, 2007, Del Barker of Trent River, in his 87th year. Husband of the late Christina Barker (nee Hill). Dear father of Allen & his wife Barb and Brenda McLean & her husband Mike, both of Ajax, Christine Kennedy & her husband Peter of Toronto, Don & his wife Cheri of Scarborough and Elinor Wight & her husband Bryon of Norwood. Papa will be sadly missed by his 8 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. Brother of Elinor Cottrell, Irene Hischer & the late Marggie, Ruth, Ed & George. Survived by several nieces & nephews. Resting at the Brett “Havelock“ Chapel 2-4 & 7-9 pm Sunday. Service Monday at 11:00 am, Reverend David Wainwright officiating. Interment Maple Grove Cemetery.
