BLOOMFIELD, D. Allan - At his residence on Tuesday, September 18, 2007, following a battle with cancer, D. Allan Bloomfield, age 63 of Sarnia, beloved husband of Judie (Brown) Bloomfield and dear father of Scott Allan Bloomfield of Brampton and Laurie Lynn Bloomfield and her fiancé Richard Smith of Sault Ste. Marie. Brother-in-law of Ina Harris, Sally Duncan, Maureen Brown all of Sarnia and Wayne Wilkinson of Etobicoke, Predeceased by a sister Karen Wilkinson and a brother-in-law and best friend Mel Harris. Born at Owen Sound, Mr. Bloomfield had retired to Sarnia five years ago after a career as a financial officer with the Ministry of Northern Development in Sault Ste. Marie. Cremation has taken place with interment of ashes in Lakeview Cemetery. A private family graveside service will take place at a later date. Sympathy may be expressed through memorial donations to the Charity of Choice (cheques only please). Arrangements entrusted to the D.J. ROBB FUNERAL HOME.
