Jérémie DE VILLIERS

passed away peacefully on September 4 at St. Mary's hospital. Jerry was born in Hull, Quebec to father Jeremie De Villiers and mother Melina Auger. He is survived by his children Jeremie Jr., Angela and Andree and his grandchildren Tanya and Joel. He will be missed by his brothers Jean, Art, Bert and sister Simone as well as by his many nieces and nephews. Jerry's life was that of a passionate musician. He started playing the piano at the age of eight and went on to have an illustrious career as a conductor, arranger and beloved accompanist to many great stars of the Canadian and international entertainment scene. He could often be seen on CFCF T.V., heard on countless radio broadcasts and on the over 300 recordings he made over the many years as a professional musician. Jerry was an inspiration to many and will be remembered for his outstanding talent and generosity. A service will be held at Saint-Stanislas-de-Kosta Church, 1350 boul. St.-Joseph East, Montreal, H2J 1M3, on Saturday, September 15 at 11 a.m.
