NICHOLSON, Mary Evelyn At the Brockville General Hospital on Wednesday September 12, 2007. The former Mary Evelyn Dixon age 87 years. Beloved wife of the late Ernest Nicholson. Dear mother of Kathleen Eagle (Gary) of R.R. 2 Brockville, Henry Nicholson (Joan) of Cardinal, Joyce Nicholson (John Evans) of Portland, and Nancy Sheffield (Greg) of Smiths Falls. Predeceased by a daughter Dorothy Ramsay of Brockville. Loving grandmother of 17 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren. Dear sister of James Dixon (Kay) of New Jersey. Also survived by 3 sisters-in-law, Joan Dixon of New Zealand, Doreen and Freda Dixon both of England. Mary will be sadly missed by several nieces and nephews, especially Doris and Margaret of Wales. Predeceased by 5 brothers, Harry, Albert, Brian and Dennis Dixon all of England, and Arthur Dixon of New Zealand. Relatives and friends may pay their respects at the Judson Funeral Home Athens, on Thursday evening September 13, 2007 from 7 - 9 p.m. and Friday September 14, 2007 from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. when Funeral Services will be held in the chapel. Interment to take place in family plot in England. In memoriams to the Humane Society, Maple View Lodge or the charity of your choice will be gratefully acknowledged by the family.
