De Boer ATKINSON

DE BOER, Jean (nee Atkinson) Born September 30, 1915 in Sutherland, Saskatchewan, Jean passed away peacefully in Hospice at the Royal Jubilee Hospital, Victoria on August 14, 2007 in her 91st year. She is predeceased by her parents Joseph and Amy Atkinson and her husband Sidney. Jean was a vibrant, elegant and independent lady who gave of herself for many years (right up to a couple of months ago) through volunteer work at Glengarry Hospital and at St. Matthias Anglican Church. She will be greatly missed by many lifelong friends and family including Brian Barnes (Carolyn), Melanie and Robert, Sylvia Dickinson (Mike), Brendon (Heather) and Antony. We wish to thank Dr. Ewa Kiellerman, Staff at Hospice and 3 West for their care and respect during this difficult period. At Jean's request there will be no service and her ashes will be interned in the family grave at St. James Cemetery, Winnipeg. In lieu of flowers donations to Hospice Victoria would be appreciated.
