Orville David SAUNDERS

SAUNDERS, Orville David - March 26, 1944 - June 25, 2007. It is with great sadness that the family of Orville Saunders announces his passing at Kelowna General Hospital BC following a struggle with ALS. Orville was born and raised in Charlton and lived in Kelowna BC. Orville is survived and deeply missed by his loving wife Phyllis (nee Widdifield), his 2 sons Alfie (and Peggy) Saunders, and Orville Saunders, his 3 daughters Lana (and Jeff) Ellerton, Ruby Saunders and Janet Saunders. Also survived by his mother Janet Saunders of Charlton, 2 brothers Howard (and Caroline) Saunders of Dane and Gordon (and Kim) Saunders of Charlton, 3 sisters Diane (and Earl) Schell of Merritt BC, Beverlee (and Rolly) Lemire of Englehart and Susan (and Gilles) Savarie of Englehart. Predeceased by his father Howard Saunders and 2 sisters Mae Saunders and Faye Mills. He will also be greatly missed by his grandchildren and many other family members. He will be forever missed but he will never be forgotten. We would like to thank the nurses and Doctors at Kelowna General and Dr. Scott who were helpful and supportive during this very difficult time. A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. August 26, 2007 at the Charlton Legion. Resting where no shadows fall, In peaceful sleep he awaits us all.
