SEWARD, Ethel L. - Peacefully at the Perth & Smiths Falls District Hospital (Smiths Falls Site) on Monday, September 24, 2007. Ethel Hanna of Portland, in her 106th year. Widow of Ernie Seward. Dear Mother of Merwin and his wife Kathleen, Noreen and her husband Donald Burchill, Bill and his wife Sharon all of Portland, predeceased by daughter Betty Robertson, and son, Orville Seward. Dear sister of Madeline Baxter and Delmer Hanna of Portland. Predeceased by 9 brothers and sisters. Fondly remembered by 8 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and 9 great-great-grandchildren. Predeceased by grandson, Bradley Seward. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at the SCOTLAND FUNERAL HOME, 27 Main Street, Elgin on Friday after 10 o'clock until time of Memorial Service in the Chapel at 11 o'clock. Inurnment Halladay Cemetery, Elgin.
